IN THE NEWS: Sen. Rob Sampson presents citation to the new president of Prospect Machine Products, Inc.

Karen McWhirt, President of Prospect Machine Products, Inc., has received the 2019 Women of Excellence in Manufacturing Award by the Precision Metal Association (PMA). This annual award is conducted by the PMA and is published in the organization’s magazine, Metal Forming. Manufacturing companies submit nominations from which the PMA selects women who represent outstanding accomplishments in manufacturing.

Ms. McWhirt joined Prospect Machine Products in 2012 and has directed the company’s administrative, human relations, finance, purchasing, scheduling, and inventory control functions. On December 1st, she was appointed President of the company, succeeding Richard Laurenzi, now Chairman.

State Rep. Lezlye Zupkus (R-89) and Sen. Rob Sampson (R-16) presented an official state citation to the new president of Prospect Machine Products, Inc.
