Senator Somers Supports Local Manufacturing at Ribbon Cutting

HARTFORD, Conn. State Senator Heather Somers (R-Groton) offered her support for local manufacturing initiatives at a ribbon cutting in Pawcatuck at Davis-Standard, LLC as they celebrated their 15,000 square foot addition.

“Today was a beautiful day to celebrate a large manufacturing company right here in Southeastern Connecticut,” said Sen. Somers. “Headquartered in Pawcatuck – they are a global leader in the design and manufacturing of high-performance plastics and rubber processing equipment. I want to take a moment and applaud all of their hard-work and the good-paying jobs they offer Connecticut residents. It is fantastic to see manufacturing thriving here in our state.”

Davis-Standard, LLC has locations world-wide including locations in New York, New Jersey, Germany, Great Britain, China and Malaysia. Davis-Standard maintains its headquarters right here in Southeastern Connecticut.
