It was an incredible honor to serve as the Grand Marshal of the Mystic Memorial Day Parade today. Leading the parade through downtown Mystic, surrounded by so many proud veterans, families, and community members, was a truly humbling experience.
Earlier in the day, I also had the privilege of marching in the Noank Memorial Day Parade and attending the beautiful ceremony that followed. Both communities came together in the spirit of remembrance to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.
Thank you to everyone who organized these meaningful events and to all who joined in paying tribute. We will never forget the courage and sacrifice of our fallen heroes.
