Milling and Resurfacing Project Announced on Route 1 in Stonington

The Connecticut Department of Transportation has announced that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 1 in Stonington.

The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 2.96 mile segment of Route 1 in Stonington. The project will continue through Friday, May 25th. The regular work schedule for this project is from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. – Monday through Friday.

LANE CLOSURE INFORMATION

Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 1 from Broadway Extension to Route 1A in Stonington. Local policemen, a traffic controller and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the resurfacing work zone.
