Sen. Sampson on Torrington Voting Review: “What about Mansfield?”

Sen. Rob Sampson, Ranking Senator on the Government Administration and Elections Committee, issued the following statement regarding the announcement that a diligent and public review of voting tabulations in Torrington will happen on Tuesday.

“As they prepare this public review due to ‘extenuating circumstances’ in Torrington, where is the public review due to ‘extenuating circumstances’ in Mansfield? We want to see an open public process, not ballots run in the dark of night. Where and when will a similar transparent review happen in Mansfield?”
