Sen. Kissel supports prohibiting domestic abusers from receiving alimony in divorce proceedings
March 28, 2023“Regarding the alimony, that just seems like a simple interest of justice,” said Sen. John Kissel, R-Enfield of the legislation, which had unanimous approval in the sometimes contentious committee. “Certainly, you wouldn’t want the perpetrator of harm and crimes to then be the recipient of alimony. It makes no sense to me.”
