CT Senate Republican Leader Kevin Kelly Sworn-in for New Term

During a Jan. 6 outdoor ceremony at Connecticut’s State Capitol, Senate Republican Leader Kevin Kelly (pictured) was sworn-in for a new term representing the 21st Senate District.

Sen. Kelly has served in the State Senate since 2011 representing Monroe, Seymour, Shelton and Stratford.

After the ceremony, Sen. Kelly spoke to the media about the Connecticut Senate Republicans’ focus on making the state more affordable for middle class families. 

An elder law attorney, Sen. Kelly serves as the Ranking Republican Senator on the legislature’s Aging Committee and the Legislative Management Committee. He also serves on the Executive and Legislative Nominations Committees.
