Listening Session on Two Insurance Concepts – How to Submit Testimony

The Insurance and Real Estate Committee will hold a virtual Listening Session on Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at 10:00 A.M. and ending no later than 6:00PM via Zoom to discuss two draft bills being considered for potential votes in an upcoming special session of the state legislature:

• Capping the cost of insulin (link to draft bill)
• Increasing access to telehealth services (link to draft bill)

How to Submit Testimony:

1. Email written testimony in Word or PDF format to [email protected].
2. Provide your name and town.
3. Include in the subject line: LCO No. 3614 (if you are discussing the telehealth bill) or LCO No. 3601 (if you are discussing the insulin bill)
4. Copy me on the email at [email protected].

How to Testify Virtually:

1. If you would like to testify via Zoom, you must register using the On-line Testimony Registration Form.
2. Registration will CLOSE on Monday, July 20 at 7:00 P.M. Speaker order will be posted on the Insurance and Real Estate Committee’s website.
3. If you do not have internet access, you may provide testimony via telephone. To register to testify by phone, call the Phone Registrant Line: 860.240.0411 to leave your contact information.
4. Speakers will be strictly limited to 3 minutes of testimony. Written testimony is HIGHLY ENCOURAGED.

The Listening Session will be recorded and broadcast live on CT-N (CT-N.com). It will also be available on demand from CT-N.
