Sen. Kissel and Rep. Bacchiochi Visit With Somers Seniors

Rep. Bacchiochi and Sen. Kissel share a light moment during their visit to the Somers Senior Center.

State Rep. Penny Bacchiochi (standing at left) and State Sen. John A. Kissel (standing at right) visited the Somers Senior Center on June 22 to talk to area taxpayers about the 2011 legislative session.

Record tax hikes go into effect July 1, and both Rep. Bacchiochi and Sen. Kissel stood in strong opposition to those tax hikes. The legislators said they enjoyed visiting the senior center and hope to return soon.
