Holiday Meal Basket Collection Continues in Shelton

The Spooner House’s annual frozen turkey and fixings drive for holiday meal baskets will continue throughout the month of December. The goal for this holiday season is to prepare 750 meal baskets for the Valley Food Bank.

Instant Potatoes
Packages of Gravy
Stuffing Mix
Canned Cranberry Sauce
Cans of Vegetables
Pie Crust Mix
Pie Filling
Cans of Evaporated or Powdered Milk
Jars of Pickles
Canned Olives
Canned Fruit
Coffee and Tea
Powdered Juice Mix
Napkins
Sugar
Brownie Mix
Biscuit Mix

Donations can be dropped off anytime at The Spooner House on 30 Todd Road in Shelton. They are also accepting frozen turkeys for families during the Holiday Season. The Spooner House staff asks that donations be placed in a sturdy box or bin. For more information call 203-225-0453.
