At a Nov. 20 ceremony held at the Bushnell Theater in Hartford, Sen. John A. Kissel honored Enfield-based Brooks Brothers, Inc. for being named “Retailer of the Year” by the Connecticut Retail Merchants Association. Brooks Brothers joins a long list of distinguished retailers that have received this award from the CRMA.

“Brooks Brothers has a long, proud history in American retailing,” Sen. Kissel said while presenting Brooks Brothers Inc. CEO Claudio Del Vecchio with an official state citation co-introduced by Rep. David Kiner and Rep. David Alexander. “Today, that history includes a strong commitment to Connecticut, with its corporate headquarters here in Enfield. In addition, Brooks Brothers has an outstanding track record of corporate giving, to go along with all the other things that make a retailer successful, including first rate marketing, communication and top flight customer service. We also congratulate the dedicated employees of Brooks Brothers on the hard work they do each and every day on behalf of the company.”
