Jason Perillo

Representing Connecticut’s the 21st District

Jason Perillo was elected as a State Senator in February of 2025.

Jason Perillo was elected to the State House of Representatives in 2007, then named the Deputy House Republican Leader in 2020, serving the people of the 113th House District. Senator Perillo now represents Connecticut’s 21st State Senate District, comprising Monroe, Seymour, Shelton, and Stratford.

Jason received his bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University in Washington, DC and holds a master’s degree in business administration from Boston College. Jason also holds a master’s degree in public administration, which he received from Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government.

Jason is a Certified Public Accountant and has spent his career in healthcare administration.

Jason also serves the community as a Corporator for Griffin Hospital. He is a parishioner of and lector at St. Joseph Church and is a member of the Knights of Columbus Bernardo Council. He is also the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Holy Trinity Catholic Academy in Shelton. Jason is also a longtime member of the Sons of the American Legion, Squadron 16.

A lifelong Shelton resident, Jason, his wife Becky, and their daughter, Lydia, live on Coram Avenue in the house where his grandfather, former Shelton Mayor Vincent Tisi, Jr., grew up.
