This evening, I had the privilege of joining the Lieutenant Governor, local officials, and members of our community at the Griswold Vietnam-era Veterans Ceremony. It was an honor to say a few words and personally thank these heroes for their service and sacrifice.
Many who served during the Vietnam era returned home without the recognition they deserved. Tonight’s ceremony was a meaningful opportunity to finally express our gratitude and honor their courage, commitment, and sacrifice.
Thank you to the Town of Griswold and the Department of Veterans Affairs for organizing such a heartfelt tribute.

What was a simple, one-page bill aimed at addressing homelessness morphed into a 160-page top-down mandate, pushed through in the dead of night, with no answers to our questions from the proponents. This is not how sound public policy is made.
