State Senator Jason Welch attended a February 25 legislative breakfast hosted by the Bristol Community Organization (BCO). BCO is a non-profit community action agency serving economically disadvantaged individuals and families in Bristol, Burlington, Farmington, Plainville, and Plymouth. BCO members and staff briefed Welch and other area legislators on the services it provides to area residents. “We are faced with a huge budget deficit and must do all we can to see that organizations like BCO are not unfairly impacted during these difficult fiscal times,” Welch said. “We will be working in a bipartisan fashion in Hartford to represent BCO’s needs at the State Capitol.” Welch represents Bristol, Plymouth, and Plainville.
