PHOTO BRIEF: Senator Boucher Attends Sacred Heart Forum
November 30, 2017On November 28, State Senator Toni Boucher (R-26) was a panelist at Sacred Heart University’s forum, Connecticut at the Crossroads. The forum was the inaugural event for the school’s new Institute for Public Policy.
“Tax policy drives the economy,” Sen. Boucher told forum attendees. Currently, that policy is driving people and jobs out of Connecticut, she said.
For Connecticut to recover, Sen. Boucher said, partisan politics must be put aside as it was in the recent special session. Democrats and Republicans need to work together in the best interest of the state.
Sen. Boucher represents the communities of Bethel, New Canaan, Redding, Ridgefield, Weston, Westport, and Wilton.
