Durham Forum for Families of Individuals with Disabilities

Please join us! The Durham Legislative Delegation and Durham First Selectwoman are hosting a forum for families of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The event will take place on Thursday, August 25, 2016 from 6:00pm-7:30pm at the Durham Town Hall third floor meeting room located at 30 Town House Road.

The discussion and presentation will cover questions and concerns regarding issues faced by individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. Topics of discussion will include new legislation to better help families communicate with state agencies, what happens when individuals turn 21 and ‘age-out’ of state provided services, and what services and supports are available in Connecticut.
