CT Street Takeovers Crackdown Bill Advances; CT Senate GOP Applauds “Positive Step”

Sen. John A. Kissel, Sen. Jason Perillo and Sen. Stephen Harding applauded the advancement of a bill in the Judiciary Committee that would allow law enforcement to confiscate driver’s licenses or vehicles used in so-called “street takeovers” which authorizes municipalities to adopt ordinances related to street takeovers and to destroy seized vehicles after 30 days.
