“What Has It Been Spent On?” CT Senate GOP Seeks Info on CDC $$

Sen. Heather Somers, Ranking Senator on the Public Health Committee, and Sen. Stephen Harding today wrote to the Lamont administration with regard to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention pulling back funds allocated in response to the pandemic to state and community health departments and nongovernment organizations. “Can you please provide us with an accounting of this CDC money that has come to Connecticut?” the senators wrote.

“Can you please also include a breakdown of how it has been spent, and what it has been spent on? Your response will help us to better communicate with our constituents.”
