Sen. Kevin Kelly Statement on the Passing of Gov. M. Jodi Rell

Sen. Kevin Kelly issued the following statement on the passing of former CT Gov. M. Jodi Rell.

“Gov. Rell epitomized public service. She restored trust in state government at a time when Connecticut desperately needed it. She was a straight shooter whose word was her bond. That integrity earned her universal respect from Republicans and Democrats alike. Her principled leadership has inspired many – including myself – to serve. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Rell family.”
