Sen. Fazio Reacts to Passing of Gov. M. Jodi Rell

State Sen. Ryan Fazio issued the following statement regarding the passing of former Connecticut Gov. M. Jodi Rell.

“May Gov. Jodi Rell rest in peace. I spoke with Gov. Rell only a few weeks ago when I asked her to provide words of recognition for my predecessor, Sen. Bill Nickerson, which she naturally did. She was as sharp as ever and very funny, always interested in what was happening in Connecticut politics and hoping for good things in the future. She was a great woman and will be missed by many. Her entire family is in my prayers.”
