$771,312 in Community Investment Fund (CIF) dollars have been allocated to the Town of Windsor Locks, which will be considered at today’s CIF meeting. This funding will be used for infrastructure upgrades to support the Windsor Locks Transit-Oriented Development project. The project will activate a 122-unit multi-phase project located at 255 Main St, bringing much-needed mixed-use development to the community. Senator Kissel issued the following statement regarding this crucial funding:

“Investing in infrastructure upgrades is just what Windsor Locks needs! Funding to support this mixed-use development project is a fantastic step forward. It’s all about creating a lively, thriving community where folks can live, work, and play together. Attractive developments are key in bringing new residents to town. I applaud the State of Connecticut for recognizing the importance of this project!”
