Sen. Seminara Statement on Child Care Accessibility Changes

Sen. Lisa Seminara, the Ranking Senator on the Committee on Children, issued the following statement regarding changes which will make child care more accessible for low to moderate income families.

“Like groceries, electricity and health insurance, the cost of child care and early childhood education continues to increase in Connecticut. These multiple mounting costs are straining family budgets to their breaking points. As lawmakers, we must continue to focus on lowering all of these burdens in order to help provide much-needed relief and support for struggling Connecticut families with children.”
