CT Senate GOP: School Threat Notification “is of paramount importance.”

The Connecticut Senate Republican Caucus today issued the following statement regarding Bridgeport teachers not being notified regarding a recent school threat until seven hours after the threat was made.

“The unacceptable communication breakdown in Bridgeport highlights an opportunity for schools across Connecticut to review their current threat response and notification policies. Timely and accurate communication is of paramount importance in any threat situation.”
