(Watch) Sen. Harding, Republicans Call for Action Over Increased Electric Rates
August 28, 2024(WFSB) – Connecticut Republicans presented a petition and demanded action over a recent dramatic increase in electric rates.
Senate Republican Leader Stephen Harding and House Republican Leader Vincent Candelora, among others, called for a special session to tackle the issue of customers’ high bills.
They participated in a conference call and news conference at the Legislative Office Building in Hartford.
They presented a petition with signatures to call the legislature back.
