Senator John A. Kissel Statement on Governor Lamont’s Nomination for Chief Justice

Senator John A. Kissel issued the following statement today pertaining to Governor Lamont’s nomination of the Honorable Raheem L. Mullins to serve as Chief Justice of the Connecticut Supreme Court.

“Justice Mullins has a long career of excellence in Connecticut’s judicial arena, and he is a terrific selection for Chief Justice. I wish him well in this new chapter of his career and believe he will have a strong impact on the state’s highest court, as well as the entire Judicial Branch.”
