Sen. Seminara: Infant’s Tragic Death is “absolutely heartbreaking”

The Department of Children and Families (DCF) said they were involved with the family of an infant found dead at a Milford motel weeks before the baby’s death.
Sen. Lisa Seminara, ranking senator on the Committee on Children, described the incident as “absolutely heartbreaking.”
“As we mourn this infant’s tragic death, we must also get answers from state government. DCF was involved with the infant’s family for four weeks. We need a thorough examination and investigation regarding the details of that involvement. DCF and the state’s Office of the Child Advocate are conducting reviews. Our prayers go out to this baby’s loved ones,” Seminara said.
