Sens. Harding & Sampson Statement on Another Bridgeport Ballot Case Being Referred to Prosecutors

Sen. Republican Leader Stephen Harding and Sen. Rob Sampson, Ranking Senator on the Government Administration and Elections Committee today issued the following statement on the Sens. Harding & Sampson statement on another Bport ballot case being referred to prosecutors.

“It seems like every week we have new revelations about ballot fraud in Bridgeport. It’s going to keep happening, because there are no consequences for bad actors in Connecticut. Republicans have repeatedly tried to put ‘teeth’ into our election integrity laws, but Democrats repeatedly have shot down our attempts to hold lawbreakers accountable. This will continue to be a national embarrassment for Connecticut, because Democrats here under one party rule have no interest in dealing with this culture of fraud and abuse.”
