CT Senate GOP Statement on Prospect Countersuing Yale Over Hospital Deal

Sen. Republican Leader Stephen Harding, Sen. Heather Somers, Ranking Senator on the Public Health Committee and Sen. Jeff Gordon, a medical doctor and a member of the Public Health Committee issued the following statement regarding Prospect Medical Holdings Inc. countersuing Yale New Haven Health.

“Suits and countersuits will not a produce a swift resolution to this dispute. Multiple lawsuits will not bolster health care accessibility – and access to health care jobs – in our communities. Instead, for the good of the people of the State of Connecticut, what we must have are strong, good faith negotiations and leadership determination to get things done – with all sides working together quickly.”
