Senator Ryan Fazio Responds to Verdict in Jennifer Dulos Case

STAMFORD, CT- In light of Michelle Traconis being found guilty of all charges in the Jennifer Dulos murder case, Senator Ryan Fazio (R-Greenwich) expressed his condolences to the Farber-Dulos family and emphasized the importance of remembering the victims of domestic and intimate partner violence.

Senator Fazio stated, “This case is a tragic reminder of the far-reaching impact of domestic violence and the urgent need to support and advocate for victims. We have found a piece of justice for the Farber-Dulos family, and while this cannot bring Jennifer back, it sends a strong message that domestic violence will never be condoned in Connecticut.”

Senator Fazio recognized the five children Jennifer Dulos left behind and emphasized the importance of protecting them and all child victims of domestic violence. “We must ensure that our most vulnerable, our children, are not forgotten in these circumstances. It is our duty to provide the necessary support and resources to those who need it the most,” he said.

In the last legislative session, Senator Fazio and his colleagues worked in a bipartisan manner to pass legislation that further strengthened legal protections and support systems for those dealing with domestic violence. “Ensuring the proper implementation of new and revised laws, including Jennifers’ Law, is essential in safeguarding the rights and well-being of those who have experienced domestic and intimate partner violence,” he stated.

“We must carry must the memory of Jennifer Dulos and others like her with us as we pass laws to protect victims of domestic violence and intimate partner violence and ensuring their stories and struggles are not forgotten,” Fazio concluded.
