Sen. Sampson , GOP Senate Leader Harding React to Unanimous Supreme Court Decision to Keep Pres. Trump on Ballot

Senate Republican Leader Stephen Harding and Sen. Rob Sampson, Ranking Senator on the Government Administration and Elections Committee, today’s U.S. Supreme Court ruling against Colorado’s decision to banish Donald Trump from the ballot.

“The unanimous, 9-0 decision sends a unified message to the country: Colorado was wrong on the law. Today’s decision marks a victory for the people, for popular sovereignty and for the rule of law.  We are pleased that Connecticut chose not to follow Colorado’s unwise path.”
