Sen. Lisa Seminara, Ranking Senator on the Human Services Committee, the Aging Committee and the Committee on Children, today issued the following statement regarding the bipartisan call for homelessness prevention funding to be prioritized.

“Homelessness touches all of our communities and impacts people of all ages. This is a human crisis. The situation is dire, and it is getting more and more urgent. As lawmakers, our mutual focus must be on prevention and prioritizing these vital resources. This is a bipartisan effort to save lives and prevent tragedies while making Connecticut more affordable for everyone. We must show that we are up to this considerable challenge.”
