WINDSOR LOCKS  – Sen. John A. Kissel, Ranking Senator on the Judiciary Committee, today issued the following statement regarding the Connecticut Attorney General’s announcement of new litigation against corporations that knowingly manufactured highly toxic chemicals endangering Connecticut’s public health and environment.

“I fully support the Attorney General in this pursuit of justice on behalf of our state’s residents. I supported a new law which improves access to benefits for firefighters who develop cancer and I have co-sponsored new environmental health legislation to address the dangers of toxic PFAS. We must continue to work collaboratively and vigorously.  Polluters must be held accountable.”
