Sen. Kelly statement on passing of Patricia Longo: “She was a uniting force”

Senate Republican Leader Kevin Kelly issued the following statement on the passing of former Republican National Committeewoman and Vice Chair of the Connecticut Republican Party Patricia Longo:

“Pat was tireless, dedicated and passionate about growing Connecticut’s Republican Party. She was a uniting force who brought the party together through humor, ideas, and sheer strength of will. For decades, Pat truly was a leader for our party. She cared deeply about America, Republican principles, and the future of our state. She also inspired many – especially women – to run for all levels of public office in our state. We send our thoughts and condolences to Pat’s family and friends.”
