Sen. Seminara: New CT Law Creates

“Survivors of Homicide Victims Awareness Month”

Sen. Lisa Seminara today highlighted legislation she supported which declares November 20 to December 20 as “Survivors of Homicide Victims Awareness Month” in Connecticut.

“We must put victims of violent crime first,” Sen. Seminara said.  “This new law supports the family members of homicide victims by educating and influencing the public about the impact of homicide on families and communities.”

Sen. Seminara and her colleagues in the Senate Republican caucus have been outspoken advocates for violent crime victims and their families.
