The state senator’s goal was seeing what FEMA funds she could get to help boost the cleanup effort.

“I am here to survey the damage, determine what the short and long-term needs are and hopefully report that back to Hartford and get them any needed assistance that they may require,” said state Sen. Lisa Seminara.
