STAMFORD, CT – Today, Senator Ryan Fazio (R-Greenwich) issued the following statement on the untimely passing of Reverend Tommie Jackson, who served as a staple in the Stamford Community for decades.

“Our entire Stamford community mourns upon learning of the tragic passing of Reverend Tommie Jackson, who tirelessly dedicated his life to our City. He devoted his time and energy to faith and public service as Pastor at Rehoboth Fellowship Church and Faith Tabernacle Church. I first met Reverend Jackson volunteering during the early months of the COVID-19 pandemic and quickly learned how deeply he was rooted in the community as he fought for the betterment of all communities. His positive energy and generosity will not soon be forgotten. Reverend Jackson will live on through acts of compassion and kindness. My thoughts and prayers go out to his wife, Dorye, who serves as a Stamford Police Commissioner and their beloved daughters, Evinn and Erin, during this difficult time.”
