More than 15 years ago, former State Sen. Jonathan Harris and I advocated for the establishment of a safe, convenient, and dependable regional transportation system for north-central Connecticut seniors and visually impaired residents. We wanted to help people keep their independence after they are no longer able to drive themselves.

Fast forward to today: Nutmeg Senior Rides fills that need!
