Sen. Kissel Condemns Assault on Rep. Khan

Sen. John A. Kissel, who represents part of Windsor, today issued the following statement in reaction to the assault of Rep. Maryam Khan in downtown Hartford on Wednesday.

“I condemn this attack in the strongest of terms. My heart goes out to Rep. Khan and her family. She is a kind-hearted person and a dedicated lawmaker who I am honored to serve the people of Windsor with. We also happen to be Windsor High School graduates and we enjoy welcoming Windsor students to our historic State Capitol for tours. I wish Rep. Khan well.  Our entire Senate Republican caucus will continue to have her and her family in our thoughts.”
