A Visit to the State Capitol

Sen. Heather Somers (center) on May 15 welcomed students and teachers from Griswold Middle School to the State Capitol building in Hartford. The students toured the Capitol complex and met with Sen. Somers in the historic Senate Chamber. Sen. Somers encouraged the students to continue to learn more about their state government and thanked them for visiting “The People’s House”. Sen. Somers represents Griswold, Groton, North Stonington, Plainfield, Preston, Sterling, Stonington and Voluntown.
