Sen. Kevin Kelly Welcomes Fourth Graders from St. Mark School to the State Capitol

On May 18, 2023, Senate Republican Leader Kevin Kelly (R – Stratford) welcomed fourth graders from St. Mark School in Stratford to the State Capitol. Sen. Kelly educated the students on the legislative process in the Senate Chamber as they toured the Capitol building.

Sen. Kelly said, “It’s great to meet with students from my hometown of Stratford and show them the legislative process in action. Students are the future of democracy. I encourage the children to get involved in the issues that matter to them, and one day we may see them in office at the Capitol!”

Sen. Kevin Kelly represents the 21st Senatorial District, which includes the towns of Stratford, Monroe, Seymour, and Shelton.
