Connecticut Senate Republican Leader Kevin Kelly (R-Stratford) and Senator Marilyn Moore (D-Monroe) met with Connecticut’s Kid Governor Ellie Mendez and her cabinet today at the State Capitol. Ellie Mendez is a student at Monroe Elementary School and was elected as the 2023 CT Kid Governor on her “Express and Address Your Feelings” platform. Sen. Kelly shared the history of the Capitol and recognized Ellie and her cabinet in the Senate Chamber along with fellow lawmakers.
