Supporting Autism Awareness month, Senator Berthel recognized Watertown’s Christine Faressa, husband Mark Faressa, and their son Domenic on the Senate floor for their ongoing advocacy for children with autism, and their families. Christine became the founder of Sun, Moon & Stars when she established a judgement-free Supper Club as a way for families with children on the autism spectrum to a enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.

The Supper Club quickly grew into a support group for families and began offering many collaborative services and events. Senator Berthel also acknowledged Christine as an example of the power of women in business as we approach Women-Owned Business Day at the end of April.
