February 14, 2023Everyone should be welcome to Fairfield’s beaches – but if taxpayers in Fairfield are paying for the maintenance and upkeep of the beaches and the parking, they should get some benefit in lower pricing.
That’s only fair.
There is a public hearing at 11 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 17 in Room 1E of the Legislative Office Building on a bill which will stop town public beaches from offering discounted parking fees to residents who pay taxes.
