January 4, 2023State Sen. Paul Cicarella (R-North Haven) today was sworn-in for a second term at the State Capitol in Hartford to represent the families of the state’s 34th Senatorial District, which now includes the Town of North Branford. In his second two-year term, Sen. Cicarella will serve as ranking member of the legislature’s General Law and Public Safety & Security Committees, and is a member of the Regulations Review Committee and Veterans’ Affairs Committee. The 2023 legislative session concludes on June 7.
Sen. Cicarella said, “Thank you to the people of the 34th District that put their confidence in me to represent them in Hartford, now including the families of North Branford. We have a beautiful district and state, but we must restore affordability and safety for Connecticut families. I’ll continue the work that I began in my first term to help families get relief.
“Everyone in Connecticut should have the opportunity to prosper, and that begins with putting residents on the right track to a well-paying career. Many of these careers are in the trades. I’m proud to have created and passed measures last year that can put young people on this track, but my work is not done. I will continue to be accessible to all of my consituents because I know that your concerns do not have boundaries. As your voice, please contact me at any time so that I can bring your message to Hartford.”
