Sen. Champagne Congratulates Sen.-Elect Dr. Jeffrey Gordon of Woodstock

State Sen. Dan Champagne (R-35) today issued the following statement regarding the election of Dr. Jeffrey Gordon, a Woodstock Republican, to the state senate. Sen. Champagne announced in early 2022 that he would not see re-election to the 35^th State Senate District after two terms in that office.

“Congratulations to Jeff on a hard-fought victory. Jeff’s commitment to the families of the 35^th District was clear throughout his campaign. I am confident that he will be a strong voice for all residents in Northeast Connecticut when it comes to affordability and safety. These remain the very real concerns of the majority in our district. As a state senator, Jeff will bring fresh ideas and ways of solving problems with these quality-of-life issues in mind. I wish him great success,” he said.
