(Watch) Employers and Employees Need Choice. Sen. Sampson opposes measure that undermines both. (4/21/22)

April 21, 2022

Sen. Sampson opposes S.B. 163, which prohibits employers from penalizing employees should the employee refuse to attend a meeting, listen to a speech, or view communications related to the employer’s opinion about religious or political matters.

In his speech on the Senate floor, Senator Sampson explains how this mandate runs contrary to the true meaning of freedom: where both employer and employee have the right to tell their side of the story and have the reciprocal freedom to choose accordingly.
