Sen. Miner opposes Senate bill punishing struggling CT businesses

April 13, 2022

During the Senate’s regular session on April 13, Senator Miner stands up for middle class Connecticut families and small businesses to oppose a measure that would allow as little as two employees on strike to collect unemployment funds, amid a $1 billion debt to the federal government.

He explains how this legislation, if enacted, would hurt Connecticut businesses and the middle class who were originally told to stay home because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
