Public Hearing Alert: Help us build a CT Jobs Pipeline

Senate Republican leaders are advocating for a better way to:

  • Expand the education-to-workforce pipeline
  • Enhance apprenticeship opportunities
  • Train young people for in-demand health care careers, and
  • Strengthen flagship industries to support job creation

You have an opportunity to weigh in, and call on CT lawmakers to better support education, jobs, and workforce training.

1) Submit Written Testimony

  • Send an email to [email protected].
  • In the subject line, write: “I support Senate Bill 228. I support a Better Way to a Prosperous Connecticut”
  • Include your name and town

2) Testify at the Public Hearing on Friday

  • On Friday, March 4, 2022, the Education Committee will hold a public hearing on Senate Bill No. 228 An Act Concerning Opportunities for Students to Participate in Pathways Programs and the Provision of Information about the Availability of Technical Education and Career Schools and Regional Agricultural Science and Technology Education Centers.

Individuals who wish to testify via Zoom must register using the On-line Testimony Registration Form.  Registration will close on Thursday, March 3, 2022 at 3:00 P.M. Further details available here.
