Sen. Somers to hold virtual Town Hall Thursday Feb. 3

State Sen. Heather Somers, R-18th District, will host a virtual Town Hall Meeting on Thursday Feb. 3 from 6 to 8 p.m. that will allow residents of Groton, Stonington and North Stonington to ask questions about the upcoming session of the General Assembly.

Somers, of Groton, is the ranking senator on the legislature’s Public Health Committee and Transportation Committee, as well as the former chairwoman of the Communications Subcommittee of the state’s Vaccine Advisory Task Force. She recently unveiled a plan to address the need for mental health services in Connecticut. The legislative session runs from Feb. 9 to May 4.
