Covid-19 At-Home Test & Mask Distribution

The governor has announced plans to distribute at-home rapid Covid-19 tests and N-95 masks.

The state will begin distributing kits (each containing two tests) beginning Thursday, Dec. 30 to cities and towns across Connecticut.

The counts that are coming to the 28th Senate District (EACH “kit” contains 2 at-home tests:
Easton – 990 kits
Fairfield – 7740 kits

Fairfield town officials will be distributing 7,710 COVID-19 test kits to residents on Thursday, December 30. People can pick up test kits from 12 to 5 p.m., or until supplies last, at Roger Ludlowe Middle School.

Residents entering the distribution site should enter the middle school at 440 Mill Plains Rd., adjacent to Sturges Park. Because of limited supply, test kits are intended for residents that are symptomatic or that have a known exposure who tested positive, according to town officials.

Proof of residency is required. Families will receive a maximum of two kits, or four tests, per household.

Newtown – 3420 kits
Weston – 1350 kits
Westport – 3420 kits
